Certified Market Technician (CMT)

Status: Passed Level 2 (of 3) towards the CMT. I use technical analysis to complement fundamental and macroeconomic analysis to form a complete picture of markets and securities. I decided to put this designation on hold to pursue my financial planning designations though I am still a member of the Market Technicians Association (MTA). Registrations

Canada

I was a registered Investment Advisor in Canada for over 5 years however I am currently no longer registered. I voluntarily gave up my registration to lesson the compliance complications for Richardson GMP that would come with a U.S. resident advising Canadian residents.

My registration can be reinstated without further education requirements until July 2018.

United States

Should a role require registration in the US. I will do what is necessary to become registered. To my knowledge, there is no reason why I would not be able to become registered once I have passed any examinations.
