I received a lot of personal satisfaction helping this organization and the community it serves. While there were some interesting challenges from nationally for the society (CCSVI procedure) I am most proud of two initiatives I contributed to locally.

First, I lead a strategic review of the fundraising segment at the chapter level. The review produced an overriding fundraising strategy as well as recommending several tactics for each of the fundraising activities the chapter was involved in. The strategy was was well received and subsequently approved by the Board.

Next, I produced a short video to showcase the chapter's premier fundraising event, the MS Walk. You can view the YouTube video here.  The footage is a little raw but it captures the essence of event.

A few friends formed a rock band. We wanted to perform. So we volunteer to play charity events!

We are very proud to be involved with one event in particular - The Stampede Sugar Shack. Since 2006, Orange Whip has helped raise over $300,000 for charity (PASC, JDRF, Alberta Cancer Foundation) at this event.
